Mônica Lanat
Mônica Lanat holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Candido Mendes University (UCAM) and a postgraduate degree in Labor Law and Labor Procedure, also from UCAM.
She specialized in business management through an LL.M. in Corporate Law at the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC) in 2007; in Corporate Governance at the Dom Cabral Foundation in 2010; and in the Board of Directors Development Program at the Dom Cabral Foundation in 2011.
Before joining the law firm Bruno Calfat Advogados in 2014, he held key legal management positions at Brazilian companies. Between 1993 and 2002, he served as Regional Legal Manager for the State of Rio de Janeiro at a major telecommunications company, and from 2003 to 2014, he held the position of General Legal Manager at a renowned print media outlet.
She served as a Full Member of the Legal Committee of the National Association of Newspapers (ANJ) from 2004 to 2014 and of the Copyright and Entertainment Law Commission of the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association (OAB/RJ) from 2004 to 2009.
Between 2013 and 2024, she was a Member of the Full Court and of the Sixth Panel of the Ethics and Disciplinary Tribunal of the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association (OAB/RJ). She also served as an Alternate Member of the Ethics and Disciplinary Council of the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association (OAB/RJ) between 2012 and 2015.
She is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro State Chapter and São Paulo State Chapter.
