
Flávia Lanat Silveira
Flávia Lanat holds a Law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and completed an LL.M. in International Dispute Resolution at I.E. Law School in Madrid, under the Latin American Future Leaders scholarship awarded by the institution.
She has also completed extension courses in “Advocacy in Arbitration” offered by the Higher School of Advocacy of the Brazilian Bar Association Rio de Janeiro State Branch; “Data Protection” by the Legal, Ethics and Compliance School; and “Legal Translation – English and Portuguese” at PUC-Rio.
She joined Bruno Calfat Advogados in 2025, where she specializes in strategic litigation with a focus on Civil and Public Law.
Since graduating, she has worked in private practice, providing legal consulting and support to both domestic and international clients across various industries, including automotive, oil and gas, infrastructure, energy, construction, and food and beverage. She represents clients in lawsuits, arbitration proceedings, negotiations, and mediations involving Civil, Commercial, Business, Regulatory, Real Estate, and Insurance Law.
She has extensive experience in Contract Law, helping clients to pursue new business ventures by drafting and reviewing contractual instruments such as distribution agreements, sales representative agreements, licensing agreements, vehicle dealership contracts, services agreements, export and import contracts, outsourcing agreements, and others.
From 2016 to 2019, she served as a Court-Appointed Attorney for the Ethics and Disciplinary Court of the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro State Branch (OAB/RJ), and from 2019 to 2020, she was a member of the Special Panel of the same court.
She is the author of articles published in specialized journals and periodicals. She received honors for her theses at both the LL.M. and undergraduate levels, titled respectively: “Investment Treaty Arbitration and the Brazilian Legal Framework for Foreign Investor’s Protection” and “Traditions and Land Ownership in the Process of Demarcation of Indigenous Lands.”
She is a registered attorney with the Brazilian Bar Association, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo State Branches, as well as with the Portuguese Bar Association, Lisbon Regional Council.
