João Victor Tocantins
João Victor de Araújo Tocantins is a Ph.D. candidate and holds a Master’s degree (LL.M.) in Law, State, and Constitution from Universidade de Brasília (UnB), with emphasis on Constitutional Law and the Legislative Process. He holds a Law degree from Centro Universitário de Brasília (UniCEUB).
He joined Bruno Calfat Advogados in 2026, practicing in strategic litigation. He has extensive experience in handling highly complex cases before State, Federal, and Superior Courts.
He is a university professor with experience teaching foundational legal courses, such as Introduction to the Study of Law, General Theory of Procedure, and General Theory of Public Law, focusing on building core legal concepts, bridging theory and practice, and developing applied legal reasoning.
He serves as Chancellor of the Internationali Negotia Foundation, an institution dedicated to promoting educational initiatives and leadership training within academic and institutional project development.
He is a licensed attorney with the Brazilian Bar Association, registered in the Federal District branch (OAB/DF).
